On behalf of the students and staff at Molalla River Academy, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the generous grant you provided for our participation in the Oregon Battle of the Books. Your support has been invaluable to us, and we deeply appreciate your commitment to helping our students succeed.
The grant allowed us to acquire additional books and supplies, ensuring that both of our teams, “The Golden Dragons” (3rd – 5th grade) and “Bookie Monsters” (6th – 8th grade), were well-prepared for the regional competition. We are proud to share that both teams made it to the Sweet 16 round! Although we didn’t make it to State level, the experience was an incredible learning opportunity, and many of our students are already excited to compete again next year.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and support. Your contribution has made a meaningful difference in the lives of our students. Please find attached a picture of both teams expressing their gratitude.
